      MIAMI OPEN 2024 / 2nd round Leylah Fernandez vs Emiliana Arango      🇨🇦 vs 🇨🇴 It's going to be an interesting battle! 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 from Canada will face 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 from Colombia in the second round of the Miami Open. The Canadian tennis player is a huge favorite to win that battle.     Malene Helgø won twelve matches in a row! After triumphing in the ITF 35 tournament held in Helsinki, the Norwegian player Malene headed to Egypt.       The victory of Iga Świątek over Marta Kostiuk has propelled the Pole to the first place in the "Race" ranking 🤍🇵🇱.  This ranking is based on the number of points accumulated by players during the current season, determining their qualification for the WTA Finals. This means that the Warsaw native is currently the top-ranked singles player on the tour in the 2024 season. Thanks to her triumph over the Ukrainian, Iga has surpassed Aryna Sabalenka in this ranking, who showcased an outstanding performance especially in January.
